Kathryn Bornhoeft - Community Service CoordinatorCommunity Service Coordinator

        Kathryn Bornhoeft

Kathryn was born and raised in Columbus, and went to college at Ashland University where she met her husband Steve. After bouncing around central Ohio for a few years, Kathryn and Steve finally settled in Gahanna in September of 2019. They have two boys, Owen (4) and Samuel (1) and two dogs, Ruby and Slate. Kathryn has been an elementary school teacher for almost ten years but after Samuel was born in April of 2021 decided to take a year off to spend time with the boys. GMN made that transition so much easier by keeping everyone busy with play groups, play dates, book club, and just having a group of moms to lean on - and other kids for Owen to talk to! When she isn't finding activities around town to do with the kids, Kathryn enjoys cooking, reading, attempting to garden, scrolling TikTok, and hanging out with friends. Kathryn is ready to go back to the classroom this fall as Owen is off to preschool. She is looking forward to serving on the GMN board this year and planning some rewarding and fun community service events.
